Ian Aadland is a former collegiate tennis player at Saint John’s University, where he earned All-MIAC honors during his junior and senior seasons while completing a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Data Analytics.

Following graduation, Ian spent a year living and working in Rwanda, contributing to community and educational initiatives focused on expanding access to technology and learning resources.

Ian is actively involved in tennis as a coach at Life Time, where he works with players of all ages and skill levels to develop technique, match strategy, and overall performance. He is currently pursuing professional certification through the PTR and RSPA.

In addition to his work in tennis, Ian is a data analytics consultant at Fulton Analytics in Minneapolis, where he applies his analytical background to solve business problems.

Ian also supports the organization through his work with AJ Athletic Apparel Company, a partner brand that helps fund the academy’s mission. He contributes through product testing and content support, providing feedback informed by his competitive playing experience and passion for athletic performance. He is committed to growing the game of tennis and increasing access to the sport, recognizing that while talent is universal, opportunity is not.

He’s delighted to be part of AJTAI, where he can further broaden the reach of tennis and carry-on the light of Justin’s torch.
