We’ve always known that true change happens on the ground, led by the local coaches who are the real heart and soul of this mission. Over in Quibdó, Chocó—a vibrant, rhythm-filled region of Colombia—Coach Fabio Serna Machado is proving exactly what happens when you refuse to accept limits.

When he first brought tennis to local courts, the skeptics told him to pack it up. They told him he was wasting his energy because “tennis is a sport only for rich people.” Fabio just smiled, looked at the kids, and completely shattered that stereotype. Today, his foundation, Fundación Fasema, is a bustling hub for over 300 active youth.
But Fabio’s magic goes way beyond the baseline. On his courts, tennis is the high-energy
